Upcoming events planned for 2008.
Events
Events are a prime reason (and excuse) for you to keep on top of your vehicle's
maintenance and restoration duties. It's also a chance to show off your car,
meet new people, see old friends, and drive
through the country-side and well-groomed neighborhoods of the Pacific Northwest.
All events are open to all 2002, 1500, 1600, 1602, 1800, 2000
and pre-1983 classic BMW automobiles.
These events are always FREE unless otherwise noted. Also, remember to BRING
A CAMERA and lunch, ferry, gas and lunch money if/when necessary.

FEBRUARY:
- 02/02/2002 Anniversary Run - Saturday
February 2, 2008. We've sponsored this event for the past 6 years
in and around
the Puget Sound area.
MAY:
- Mai Fest Rally - Saturday-Sunday
May 10-11, 2008. Depart North Bend Outlet Mall at 9AM. This rally
to Leavenworth via HWYs 90, 97, and back over Hwy 2 is considered a full
day / weekend overnighter with optional
sleep
over in town or at the local campground
(TBD).
This is one of our most popular events and, if just for the dancing, food
and German costumes alone, is well worth the trip. Great chance to "get
your Schnitzel (or Schweinshax'n)
on." Participants are
strongly encouraged to wear Lederhosen (guys), or Dirndls (gals). No kidding.

JULY:
- Sonniger Bimmer Spaß Our
Grand Event! -
Sunday July 27, 2008. 9AM-5PM.
This classic BMW show and gathering
is sponsored by the Cascade Roundel Society. It takes place
in North
Bend, WA. and is purported to be the
largest event of its type in Washington State, if not
the entire Pacific Northwest region. Plan on bartering,
trading, and buying those much sought after
components; Plus socializing with other BMW owners.
Drive/rally to follow. Giveaways and trophies will be awarded.

OCTOBER:
- Bimmer Beach Bonfire Rally -
Saturday-Sunday October 11-12,
2008. 9AM-6PM.
Our caravan heads down I-5 to Hwy 4 along the scenic
Columbia River to Long Beach before doubling back from
historic
Oysterville, WA. Lunch will be in Long Beach. For those
staying over
night,
please bring firewood for the beach bonfire, weenies,
buns, condiments, and s'more equipment. Call ahead for
